Description:

Installation of a floating dock to maintain and improve the facilities at the Cedar Lake Boat Launch.

Bids will be received until Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., by mail or delivered by hand to the Finance Department Purchasing Office, City of Carbondale, 200 South Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, Illinois, immediately after which time and at such place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820ILCS 130/1-12).

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days subsequent to the opening of bids without consent of the City of Carbondale.

The Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder complying with the provisions of this Invitation for Bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the City.
