1 Month Out from Coldest Night of the Year Fundraiser for Carbondale Warming Center!

It is now a month out from “The Coldest Night of the Year”- a fundraising campaign for the Carbondale Warming Center!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a fundraising campaign that takes place throughout Canada and the US on February 24- the average coldest night of the year date throughout these regions. Participants form teams and fundraise for a local charity or organization- for Carbondale and the surrounding region, that organization will be the Carbondale Warming Center, which, since the pandemic began, has been providing 24/7 assistance to those in need during these extreme freezing temperatures.

You can sign up to form a team, join a team, or donate today at The actual event itself will take place on February 24, at the Carbondale Community High School. All registered teams will come together for a 3-5k walk surrounding this location, and a celebratory party with food and fun will occur as the walkers return from their journey!
