Unlawful Use of Weapons

CARBONDALE – On September 27th, 2023 City of Carbondale police officers stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of North Giant City Road for a traffic violation. The vehicle was previously reported to be involved in an unlawful use of weapons complaint on September 25th, 2023. In the course of the traffic stop, officers located a handgun in the vehicle. Officers arrested Adrielle L. Gaston, 21 years old of Carbondale, and charged him with Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Gaston was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail. The investigation is active and ongoing.
