Carbondale – On 06-19-23 at 12:49 a.m. City of Carbondale police officers responded to the 100 block of West Monroe Street regarding four vehicles that had been burglarized. During the investigation, officers arrested Willie L. Suggs, 69 of DeSoto, IL., for Burglary to Motor Vehicle. Suggs was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail. The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
