[ARCHIVED] Carbondale Bands Together to Host Inaugural CommUNITY Dinner

Carbondale CommUNITY Dinner

CARBONDALE – Save the date! On June 3, 2023, Carbondale residents are invited to a special event dedicated to celebrating the spirit of community and togetherness!

In a remarkable collaboration, organizers from various local groups have joined forces to host the first-ever Carbondale CommUNITY Dinner.

To create an unforgettable experience, organizers have decided to take this dinner to the streets of Carbondale. Washington Street will be closed for the event, providing the opportunity for a family-style dinner right in the heart of our town.

This event is absolutely FREE and open to the public on a first-come basis. In order to accommodate as many people as possible, organizers will have two seatings available, each serving 80 people. The first seating will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by a second seating at 7:30 pm.

Everyone is encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot for a delicious three-course meal prepared by The Substitute Chef. Here's what's on the menu:

Mixed Greens Salad
Red Beans & Rice
Crawfish Ettoufe
Cranberry Apple Croissant Pudding

This is the perfect opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones while enjoying the start of a beautiful summer season in Carbondale.

More details can be found on Facebook.

This event is brought to you by Arthur Agency, Carbondale Main Street, Food Works, Rotary Serves Food, The Substitute Chef, WDBX, and numerous other community leaders and organizations.
