[ARCHIVED] City of Carbondale Builds Skilled Workforce List for Future Projects

Skilled Workforce List

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale has created a new registration form for skilled workers. The purpose of this form is to compile a list of workers that contractors can reference when seeking staff to meet DBE/Workforce Goals for City of Carbondale Bid Projects.

This new form is an initiative by the City to connect contractors to local skilled workers for job opportunities. The City encourages all skilled workers in Southern Illinois to submit their information to be added to the list.

The online form will ask for basic information, labor specialties, and years of experience. As new registrants are received, the list will be updated.

Contractors that are confirmed plan holders for bid projects will be able to refer to this list upon request from the office of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Coordinator. Our aim for this initiative is to provide benefits to both contractors and skilled workers within the community.

Please visit the City of Carbondale’s website to complete the form and submit your information to be added to the list.
