Carbondale - On 03-04-23 at 11:11 a.m., Carbondale police officers responded to the 800 block of North Marion Street in reference to a report of shots fired. Officers found that the suspect(s) had already left the area. During the course of the investigation, officers learned a black male in a white, black, and red leather jacket and jogging pants was seen running from the area after the shots were fired. No injuries were reported, however, a vehicle was damaged as a result of the incident. The investigation is active and ongoing.
