Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon Investigation
Carbondale - On 02-18-2023 at 4:56 p.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 500 block of East Walnut in reference to a report of a person shooting a gun. Officers responded to the area and quickly located the suspect identified as Aidyn J Finney, 18 of Carbondale. Officers charged Finney with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Finney was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail. No injuries or property damage were reported as a result of the incident. The investigation is active and ongoing.
