[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Battery with a Firearm

On 06-01-22 at approximately 9:17 p.m. City of Carbondale police officers responded to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in reference to a report person with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  During the course of the investigation, officers located the victim’s crashed vehicle in the 200 block of North Marion Street and a debris trail leading to the 200 block of North Wall Street.  The victim was treated and released from the hospital.  There is not any suspect information to provide at this time.  The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
