[ARCHIVED] Register for the 5-On-5 Community Program

5 on 5 Generic (2)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE - The City of Carbondale and the Carbondale Police Department have opened registration for the 5-On-5 Community Program! This program provides five community members and five law enforcement officers an opportunity to have an open dialogue in a judgment-free environment.

Each participant submits five questions to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, and the submitter information remains anonymous to all participants. The moderator asks the questions to the group and gives all participants an opportunity to address the topic. Conversations are not recorded.

In 2022, there will be two opportunities to participate.

  • Tuesday, June 28, from 4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 13, from 4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.

To participate in the 5-On-5 Community Program with the Carbondale Police Department, please complete the online Registration Form.

For more information, please call Sharonda Cawthon at (618) 457-3228.
