[ARCHIVED] Reckless Discharge of a Firearm Investigation

On 05-06-22 at 2:19 p.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to the area of the 500 block of South James Street in reference to a report of shots fired.  The suspect(s) fled from the area prior to the officers arriving.   No injuries or damage to property were reported as a result of the incident.  The photograph below depicts a vehicle believed to be involved.  The vehicle traveled eastbound on West Cherry Street after the shots.  The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
