[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Battery of a Firearm Investigation

On 04-11-22 at 2:26 a.m., City of Carbondale police officers responded to the 600 block of South Logan Street in reference to a report of shots fired.  A short time later, officers learned a person with a non-life threatening gunshot wound arrived at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.  The victim reported being in the 600 block of South Logan Street when an unknown person(s) fire shots from the passenger side of a gray colored 4 door vehicle.  The victim fled the area and went to the hospital for treatment.  No other injuries or damage to property were reported as a result of the incident.  The investigation is active and ongoing.
