On 12-23-21 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Carbondale Police Department officers responded to the 700 block of South Lewis Lane regarding a report of someone firing a handgun into a residence. Officers arrived on scene and located Maza D. Lynch, 45 of Carbondale, in possession of a handgun. The investigation revealed, Lynch fired a shot in the direction of an acquaintance during an argument. There were no injuries reported. Officers charged Lynch with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon. Lynch was incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.
