[ARCHIVED] Home Invasion and Armed Robbery Investigation

On 10-06-21 at approximately 9:20 a.m., City of Carbondale Police Officers responded to the 300 block of South James Street in reference to a home invasion which occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. on 10-05-21.  Officers learned two unknown suspects wearing masks and armed with handguns entered the residence and demanded property from the victims.  The suspects left in an unknown direction of travel.  No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.  Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200. The investigation is ongoing and active.
