On 07/18/21 at approximately 10:45 p.m., City of Carbondale Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of South Cedarview Street. Officers learned several shots were fired in the area causing damage to a vehicle that was parked in the area. No other damage was discovered and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. There is not any suspect information to release at this time. The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
