On 05-20-21 at 10:00 p.m., City of Carbondale Police Department officers responded to the 100 block of North Washington Street regarding reports of shots fired. Officers were then directed to the 200 block of North Marion Street where they located a vehicle that sustained damage as a result of bullet strikes. There are no known injuries resulting from this incident. The suspect is described as a black male with long braids. The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing.
