On 04/05/21 at approximately 7:30 p.m., City of Carbondale Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling the wrong way on a one-way street. During the course of the investigation, officers located an illegal firearm belonging to Aaliyah Lewis-Graham, age 18 of Carbondale, in the vehicle. Officers arrested Lewis-Graham without incident. After consulting with the Jackson County States Attorney’s Office, Lewis Graham was charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and released pending court.
