[ARCHIVED] Criminal Damage to Property Arrest

Over the last four months, the City of Carbondale Police Department has been actively investigating numerous criminal damage to property complaints of car tires being damaged.  During the lengthy investigation, officers and detectives identified a suspect in the incidents as Issac E. Wilson, 33, of Carbondale.  Carbondale police officers executed a search warrant at Wilson’s residence and arrested him.  Wilson is charged with two counts of Criminal Damage to Property.  Wilson was released on bond because he does not qualify for incarceration due to COVID -19 restrictions.  The investigations into the other related cases are still ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.  Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS.
