[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm Investigation

On 09-08-2020 at approximately 3:15 a.m., City of Carbondale Police Department officers responded to the 500 block of South Beveridge Street in reference to a report of shots fired.  Officers learned unknown suspect(s) fired shots in the area.  A residence in the 500 block of South Poplar was damaged as a result of the bullet strikes.  No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.  There is not any suspect information to provide at this time.   Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS.  The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
