[ARCHIVED] Counterfeit Bill Investigation

The City of Carbondale Police Department is investigating four separate incidents where a suspect passed a counterfeit $100.00 bill at four different businesses on August 9th, 2020.  The suspect is described as a black male with braids and a bun in his hair.  On the date of these events he was wearing acid washed blue jeans, pink tennis shoes and various shirts as indicated in the pictures below.  We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the City of Carbondale Police Department at (618) 457-3200.
