Aggravated Battery with a Firearm

 

On 05-21-20 at approximately 12:50 a.m., Carbondale Police Officers heard and also received reports of shots fired in the area of the 700 block of North Robert A. Stalls. Officers responded to the area and located a victim suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  The victim declined medical treatment. A vehicle was also damaged in the incident as a result of the gunfire. The victim is not being identified at this time and there is no suspect information to provide.  The Jackson County Ambulance Service provided assistance. This investigation is currently active and ongoing.
