[ARCHIVED] Missing Person Investigation- Recovered

On 02-26-2020 at about 9:35 p.m. officers of the Carbondale Police Department learned Van Hook was located in Mt. Vernon and was returned home. 

Prior Release on 02-26-2020:

The City of Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile, Ayden N. Van Hook, age 17, was last seen on 02-25-2020 at around 4:00 p.m. in the 400 block of East Walnut Street.  Van Hook was last seen wearing black shoes, black sweat pants and a white and gray tie-die hoodie with a skull and red roses on it.  Van Hook also had a black drawstring bag with him. Van Hook is a white male, 5’09" tall, weighing 165 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes.  Van Hook is believed to be in the Mt. Vernon or Centralia area.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Van Hook should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200. The investigation into Van Hook’s whereabouts is ongoing and active.
