[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Battery with a Firearm

On 02-15-2020 at approximately 3:40 a.m., Carbondale Police officers responded to the 1000 block of East Park Street in reference to shots fired and a reported gunshot victim. During the course of the investigation, officers learned there was a dispute amongst acquaintances outside of a party. During the dispute, the victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale where they were treated and released. The suspect is described as a light completed black male in his early 20’s, who is 5’08” tall, weighing 150 pounds, with shoulder length, dreadlock hair. He has a tattoo of a cross below his right eye. The suspect may be in a white sport utility vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban. The victim is not being identified at this time. The investigation into the incident is currently active and ongoing.
