[ARCHIVED] Residential Burglary

On 12-16-2019 at approximately 6:00 p.m. officers of the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 1400 block of East Walnut Street in reference to a report of a burglary in progress. During the course of the investigation officers located and arrested two suspects and recovered the stolen property. Angel M Jackson, age 19 of Carbondale and a juvenile male of Carbondale were arrested for Residential Burglary. Jackson was incarcerated in then Jackson County Jail and the juvenile male was released to the Department of Children and Family Services. Anyone with any information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
