[ARCHIVED] Armed Robbery

On 08-25-19 at 9:39 p.m., officers of the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 300 block of East Lynda Drive. Officers learned the victim, a delivery driver for a local restaurant was approached by two female suspects. One suspect battered the victim while the other displayed a firearm and demanded money. The suspects fled west on foot on East Dorthella Street. The suspects were only described as black females. The victim suffered minor injuries, but declined medical treatment.
