[ARCHIVED] Robbery Investigation

On 07-28-2019 at about 9:45 p.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to a business located in the 1900 block of West Main Street in Carbondale in reference to a report of a robbery.  Officers learned an unknown suspect battered the victim and stole property.  The suspect fled east from the business.  The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’08” inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with short hair, wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts.  The victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.  The investigation is currently active.  Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Carbondale Police Department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS (2677).
