[ARCHIVED] City of Carbondale Fireworks Display to be Held at SIU

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale is partnering with Southern Illinois University to bring the annual fireworks display back to campus. You can catch this year's show on Thursday, July 4 at 9:15 p.m. Parking will be available at the Banterra Center lots.    

The partnership between the City and SIU celebrates Saluki tradition, pride and promise throughout the last 150 years. In the event of rain, the City’s fireworks display will be held on Friday, July 5 at 9:15 p.m.
