[ARCHIVED] Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons


On 04-12-19 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to the 100 block of North Washington Street in reference to a shooting.  Officers found three gunshot victims at the scene and learned there was a fourth victim already at the hospital.  Three of the victims suffered none-life threatening injuries and one victim suffered life threatening injuries.  Three of the victims were taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale and one victim was taken to a St. Louis area hospital.  The victims are not being identified at this time and the investigation is currently active.

One of the suspects is identified as Jody L. Pullen Jr. of Carbondale.  Carbondale Police detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Pullen for charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.  Pullen is considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information about Pullen’s whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement.
