[ARCHIVED] UPDATE - Hydrant Flushing

The Carbondale Fire Department will continue hydrant flushing on Tuesday, April 23. Crews will be working weekdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Hydrant flushing will occur at the following intersections:

  • Baine Drive and then on Tower Road at West Chautauqua Road going north
  • West Charles Road to New Era Road going south
  • Between South Lewis Lane and South Giant City Road at East Walnut Street going north

Residents may notice a change in water pressure and possible discoloration. The water is safe to drink. However, if your water is discolored, wait a few hours before doing laundry. If you have water related questions, call (618) 529-1731.
