[ARCHIVED] Hydrant Flushing Underway in Carbondale

CARBONDALE – The Carbondale Fire Department continues flushing hydrants throughout Carbondale. Crews will be working weekdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Residents may notice a change in water pressure and possible discoloration. The water is safe to drink. However, if your water is discolored, wait a few hours before doing laundry. If you have water-related questions, call (618) 457-3240.

Daily updates will be available on the Carbondale Fire Department’s websitecalendar and Facebook page.

If you have any questions, contact Carbondale Fire Captain Carl Sisk at (618) 457-3234.
