FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CARBONDALE – The Jackson County Health Department is hosting a Shred and Med Disposal Day on Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m.-noon.
They will be accepting the following:
- Confidential documents (old tax returns, receipts, insurance papers, etc.) fro on-site shredding
- Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but please remove any binder clips
- Prescriptions and over-the-counter medications (pills, creams and patches)
- Liquids, needles and inhalers will not be accepted
