Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony

Wednesday, December 1, 2021

The City of Carbondale will kick off the holiday season with the annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 1.

The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. at the Town Square Pavilion, located at 121 N. Illinois Avenue. Hot Chocolate and cookies will be provided. We will also collect kids’ coats (ages 1-8) for Coats for Kids at the event.

Following the Community Tree Lighting, the tree will be lit every night at 5 p.m. throughout the holiday season.
