5-On-5 Community Program

Under the concept, at the end of the day, “everyone wants to go home,” the 5-On-5 Community Program was created. This program provides five community members and five law enforcement officers an opportunity for open dialogue in a safe environment. Each participant submits five questions to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, and the submitter information remains anonymous to all participants, so no one knows who is asking the questions. The moderator asks the questions, giving those who want to speak an opportunity to address the topic at hand. The discussion takes place in an environment free of judgment and with the utmost respect toward each other. Conversations are not recorded.
