The Downtown Carbondale Master Plan (PDF), adopted on April 19, 2016, is the City's official guide for revitalizing Downtown Carbondale. The Master Plan, developed through extensive community outreach with the assistance of the Downtown Advisory Committee (DAC), presents a community vision for the future of Downtown over the next 10 years. It functions as a "road map," detailing a long-term vision and policy agenda for important issues such as:
