Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Carbondale, in the Office of the Purchasing/Risk Management Coordinator, Finance Department, 200 South Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, Illinois, until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, for Sanitary Sewer/Manhole Rehabilitation (cured-in-place liner).

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2009, in the Finance Library at 200 South Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, Illinois.

Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the City which may be obtained at the Office of the Purchasing/Risk Management Coordinator and shall be enclosed in an envelope endorsed Bid No. 09-23, Sanitary Sewer/Manhole Rehabilitation.

No bid deposit is required. No performance bond will be required. Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion of the project.

Award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder complying with the specifications provided. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the City.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in 2nd floor Conference Room B at 200 South Illinois Avenue, Carbondale, Illinois. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly encouraged.
