Aggravated Battery with a Firearm Investigation

On 10-02-2020 at approximately 2:13 p.m., City of Carbondale Police Department officers responded to the 800 block of N. Marion in reference to a report of shots fired.  Officers learned unknown suspects fired shots in the area from a moving vehicle, which struck a house in the area.  No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.  There is not any suspect information to provide at this time.  Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS.  The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
